Twilight outside, lights inside. But this is not the very image subject. Spot the women on the roof, crying their protest the very same day of Iranian presidential election in 2009 - they are the real story captured by Italian photographer Pietro Masturzo, 1st absolute prize in World Press Photo 2010. So dramatic and onirical, its athmosphere recalled me a dark dollhouse, but it’s not. Then I combed flickr till I’ve found what I needed to render this emotional comparison.

Penombra fuori, luci dentro. Ma non è qsto il soggetto dell’immagine. Occhio alle donne sul tetto, che gridano la loro protesta il giorno stesso delle elezioni presidenziali in Iran nel 2009 – sono loro la vera storia colta da Pietro Masturzo, fotografo italiano vincitore del 1° premio assoluto al World Press Photo 2010. Drammatica e onirica, l’atmosfera mi ha richiamato una casa di bambola, cosa che non è. Così ho rastrellato flickr finché non ho trovato quel che mi ci voleva per rendere qsto paragone emozionale.
